Overlooking the beautiful Baja Peninsula in the Forbes five-star rated Chileno Bay Resort, Yaya restaurant combines traditional Mexican flavors with a Mediterranean twist. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a casual feel that invites guests to sit back, relax and enjoy the evening.
The team at Yaya have created a menu that features seasonal dishes that have been locally sourced from farmers and fishermen from the region. The dishes are meant to be shared with friends and family and offer a range of flavors that are prepared in their open hearth kitchen and connect the area’s Latin American and European roots with traditional Mexican preparation.
I always start with a variety of their appetizers to share and when it is available, I do not miss the Mussakhan; a roasted chicken leg prepared with sumac, pine nuts and parsnip. If you aren’t sure what to order, do not hesitate to ask the staff who are not only friendly, but super knowledgeable about the menu.
Please note that a resort fee is included in your dining experience.
